According to what the police investigation has established, Fritznel Richard is likely to have died of hypothermia during his attempt to access American soil.
His body bore no marks of violence, confirmed the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) on Friday.

"Mr. Richard is the man who was wanted by the Sûreté du Québec during the holiday season, between December 27 and 29.
