The teams from the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) and the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) were redeployed around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

From the Parc des Saules, where the two individuals sank, to the mouth of the river, the units of the two police forces are scrutinizing the area with a fine-toothed comb in search of clues that would allow them to find the missing.

Objects were found in the sector of more or less 10 km long where we have been researching since Sunday. However, we cannot confirm, for the moment, if they have a link with the missing, said David Pelletier, spokesman for the SPVQ.

Again, nautical teams, divers, drones, dog handlers, foot patrollers and investigators were deployed to the scene in the morning.

The mobile command post is still stationed at the corner of boulevards Neuvialle and Père-Lelièvre.
