Billionaire Elon Musk continues to prove he has no limits when he decides to treat himself to a new high-end private jet, a Gulfstream G700, for a value of US$78 million, or just over $100 million CAN, unveiled the Austinia news site.

With delivery scheduled for early 2023, the aircraft is expected to have "the most spacious cabin in history" with a seating capacity of 19 people.

The delivery of the aircraft could however be delayed due to the final certification of this new jet, which is not yet approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.

According to "Fortune" magazine, the jet is large enough to accommodate five separate living areas, including a six-seater dining room and a bedroom with bathroom. It also has its own wifi system.

The aircraft also features circadian lighting that recreates sunrise and sunset to adapt passengers to changes in time zones.

The G700 also has a range of 7,500 nautical miles without refueling, which means it can go from New York to Tokyo without stopping.

This new device will therefore replace the 2015 Gulfstream G650 currently owned by the founder of Tesla and Space X.

And Elon Musk would not be the only one to shop for a jet since the company Gulfstream recorded 81 orders during the last quarter of 2021, a record for the manufacturer.
