The pharmaceutical company wants to maintain the payment of the dividend entirely in cash in the future

The board of directors of Faes Farma has approved the payment of a cash dividend against 2023 results in the amount of 0.039 euros per share, a figure higher than the 0.037 euros per share paid against the 2022 financial year.

As reported this Thursday by the pharmaceutical company, this dividend will be paid on January 15, 2024 and will involve an approximate disbursement of 12.1 million euros. The last day on which shares with the right to dividend will be traded will be January 10.

Along with this dividend, Faes Farma will pay another complementary dividend for fiscal year 2023, also in cash, foreseeably within the first half of 2024, once approved by the ordinary general meeting.

The company's intention in the future is to maintain the payment of the dividend entirely in cash and for it to represent, as a goal, around 50% of the net profit for the period.

The pharmaceutical company has specified that this remuneration may vary depending on the investment needs of the group "within its policy of international expansion and growth, both organic and inorganic."
