Grupo Visalia aspires to be the "main alternative" to traditional suppliers in neighboring communities

GasHogar (Visalia Group) has signed an agreement with Shell Energy Europe Limited to give it access to its wholesale supply of natural gas and electricity, they reported this Sunday in a joint statement.
Servigás S XXI (known as Grupo GasHogar) supplies gas and electricity in Spain to neighborhood communities, SMEs and individuals through its brands GasHogar, GasPyme and Doméstica, respectively.
It will have access to Shell Energy Europe's wholesale supply of natural gas and electricity "both in the short and long term", and will also have access to environmental products, such as green certificates and guarantees of origin.
The president of GasHogar, Pedro Galve Pelayo, has highlighted that the company "can become the main alternative to traditional energy sources, especially for neighborhood communities and SMEs", thanks to this agreement and also to the commercial power it acquires with its integration into Visalia Group.
Pablo Abejas, CEO of Grupo Visalia, who recently requested authorization from the CNMC to increase its stake in Grupo GasHogar, has stated that today's sustainable growth in the supply of electricity and gas to end customers makes it "indispensable to have strong financial support and have access to wholesale supply contracts with very reliable counterparties.
For this reason, he was satisfied with the agreement with Shell, "one of the largest energy companies in the world", since it allows them to offer customers stable supply solutions at competitive prices.

GasHogar, founded by the Galve family and headquartered in Zaragoza, has been operating for more than 50 years and has some 25,000 clients from communities of owners, SMEs and individuals: it supplies natural gas, diesel, electricity, self-consumption solutions, and monitoring of consumption and efficiency, with the brands GasHogar, Doméstica, GasPyme and Gasóleos Porta.
The Visalia Group, with more than 100,000 electricity, natural gas and diesel customers, is made up of independent marketers specialized in different consumer segments, with an aggregate turnover of 411 million euros in the last financial year and a positive Ebitda operating profit of 13. 3 millions.
The group supplies electricity and gas, mainly to communities of owners, industries, public administrations, SMEs and the self-employed, and operates in the market with brands such as the aforementioned Gashogar, Watium, Syder and Nace.
