OVIEDO, 19 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -
The acting Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez, announced this Thursday in Oviedo that the High Speed railway will arrive in Asturias on November 29. The Government Delegation in the Principality points out that the inauguration will be on the 29th and the commissioning will be the following day.
Sánchez made these demonstrations together with the president of the Principality of Asturias, Adrián Barbón, during the commissioning of the extension to a third lane of the A-66, in the section between Lugones and the Matalablima interchange.
In any case, he has also indicated that new high-capacity Avril trains, which will operate on that line and will significantly expand the number of seats offered right now, will not be launched until the first quarter of 2024.
