“Good evening to all of you, my brave ones, whether you are from Montreal, its suburbs or elsewhere, it is a pure pleasure for me to welcome you and share this evening with you, dear friends. »

At 8 p.m. this Sunday evening, the Loto-Québec floor was rather bare for the passage – perhaps his last in Montreal in his career – of Jacques Michel.
The very gloomy weather forecasts – which did not come true – had probably dampened the enthusiasm of some festival-goers.
It was all in voice that Jacques Michel delivered his songs – recent and old – to the hundreds of people present.
For his show debut, however, the soon-to-be 81-year-old singer didn't worry about the fact that he was playing at a festival to perform his hits from the start. Instead, he served up a lot of songs from his most recent album. , Holding, published in 2019.
After 40 minutes of show, we only heard Salut Léon among his hits. We had to leave for the tribute to Karim Ouellet without hearing Amène-toi chez nous and the others. Shame !
