Kutxabank and Liberty Seguros have reached an agreement to renew their bancassurance alliance by which they will promote digitization in the sale of auto and commercial insurance, as reported by both companies in a joint statement.

Kutxabank has highlighted that, thanks to this alliance, it will add to its digitization efforts and objectives the technological capabilities of Liberty Seguros, a 100% digital insurer, as well as its modular product strategy "and its speed of adaptation to customer needs". .

The agreement, signed for the next 10 years (2023-2032), "ratifies the good relationship and existing synergies" between the two entities and strengthens a commitment that will last "at least until 25 years", as stressed by the two entities.

The relationship between both companies began in 2008, when the marketing of motor and retail products began with the so-called Basque Banks (BBK, Kutxa and Vital), to which CajaSur joined in 2012. The agreement was renewed in the year 2013 for ten years.

As explained by both companies in their statement, Kutxabank customers will be able to benefit from Liberty's philosophy of modular products, by which they will be able to adapt insurance to their needs by contracting those 'packs' that best suit their needs. characteristics and customs. Thus, they will pay only for what they need.

The relationship model will work in the same way as it has done up to now, so that both entities will continue to jointly develop different sales activation actions and will monitor the agreement to respond to market demands.
