Motorists have not finished having to deal with the work since Highway 440 in Laval is closed from Friday evening until August 1 between Boulevard Industriel and Highway 15.

The closure of service roads and access ramps is "required in order to carry out work to relocate a gas line, which is a prerequisite for the construction of a new overhead ramp leading directly to Highway 15, in a northerly direction”, justified the ministry of Transports of Quebec (MTQ).

The westbound lanes between Bergman Street and Highway 15 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday until 4 a.m. Monday morning, as will the entrance ramp from Industriel Boulevard and exit 22.

Road users are therefore invited to follow the detours that will be marked on the road network.

“Note that local traffic and access to businesses located between Industrial Boulevard and Bergman Street, from the service roads, will be maintained,” he said.
