Lleida.net raised its sales by 15% in 2022, to close to 20.7 million euros, the highest figure in its history, as reported by the company on Wednesday, which has attributed this rise to the increase in results in all its business lines, with the exception of contracting, which was affected by the economic cycle.

The international sales of the technology services company represented 57% of the total, with the main focus on Europe and Latin America.

Lleida.net registered pre-tax losses of 314,000 euros in 2022, compared to profits of more than 1 million euros in 2021, due to the impact of the amortization of goodwill and the financial costs of new loans and old partners, as explained by the company.

Like sales, the gross margin of Lleida.net grew by 15% in 2022, to 10.78 million, while the gross operating result (Ebitda) decreased by 16%, to 1.9 million euros .

The company has attributed the decrease in its Ebitda to higher personnel expenses as a result of "the accelerated hiring of talent in technical and commercial matters both outside and within Spain". In fact, the company shot up its personnel expenses by 45% in 2022, to 6.34 million.

"Our medium-term strategic plan calls for the incorporation of more qualified personnel to strengthen our areas of innovation and development, and accelerate the international sales of the company. This strategy will give results in the future that will benefit investors, shareholders and the team of the company", said the founder and CEO of Lleida.net, Sisco Sapena.

At the end of 2022, the company's net financial debt increased by 4%, to 8.62 million, part of which corresponds to the loans signed by Lleida.net for the acquisition of the technology company InDenova. However, both the company's total debt fell by 17% in the year as a whole.

Lleida.net, which currently has a staff of 170 people and 18 offices around the world, has received 223 patents in more than 64 countries, including the United States, China, Russia, India, Mexico, Japan, Colombia , Argentina, Peru, South Africa, Nigeria, Australia and New Zealand.
