Lleida.net closed the first half of the year with a turnover of 8.73 million euros, 17% year-on-year less, while those for the second quarter of the year amounted to 4.04 million, as reported this Wednesday in a statement.

The gross margin on sales stood at 58% compared to 50% in the first half of 2022, while the gross operating profit (Ebitda) was 345,000 euros, 62% less than in the previous year.

In general terms, sales for the semester fell by 1.8 million euros, a setback "caused by the decline in SMS Wholesale sales, which fell to 1.5 million euros."

According to the company, the decrease in sales "is a direct consequence of the significant reduction in the use of SMS and the cut in service to 4-72, the operating company of Colombia's postal services, due to non-payment problems."

From January to June, the company highlights the electronic contracting line and the so-called Other SaaS Services, which registered an increase of 18%, up to 1.7 million euros in the semester.
