The 27-year-old started his day with four bogeys in his first half, before putting it right with two birdies and a bogey in the second half.

Chun also came close to escaping the victory, she who was two strokes behind Lexi Thompson after 15 of the 18 holes of the final round. The winner, however, stalled a birdie at the 16th pennant, while her rival committed a bogey. The American followed up with another bogey on the 17th hole, paving the way for Chun.

For her part, Canada's Brooke M. Henderson, who started the day tied for sixth place, was unable to stay in the top 10 for the third tournament in a row. Her round of 76 (4), her worst of the competition, dropped her 10 places, she who finished six strokes behind the winner.

As for her, the Quebecer Maude-Aimée Leblanc concluded her disastrous event at the bottom of the ranking among the golfers still in contention, at the 71st level more precisely, with a last round of 78 (6). She finished with a cumulative 308 (20), 25 headshots.
