Montreal: a 12-year-old teenager is missing in the West Island

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is asking for the public's help in trying to locate a 12-year-old teenager who went missing on Monday in the West Island.

Jaden Dobson left around 11:30 a.m. the center where he resides in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue and has not given any sign of life since.

The English-speaking teenager is 1.65m tall, weighs 57kg and has brown eyes and hair, as described in the missing person notice.

Dobson wore a gray shirt and pants, said the SPVM, which specifies that the young boy could also have a cap on him.

"The relatives of the latter have reason to fear for his safety," said the Montreal police.

Anyone with information about the disappearance can call 911 or contact the nearest neighborhood police station, it was added.
