Montreal: a sexagenarian is missing in Rosemont

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is asking for the public's help in locating a 62-year-old man who has been missing since Thursday.

Jacques St-Amant left his residence in the borough of Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie and has not given any sign of life since, according to the SPVM.

"Investigators have reason to fear for his health and safety," said the Montreal police, adding that the sexagenarian likes to visit libraries.

A white-skinned man, Mr. St-Amant is about 1.85 m tall, weighs 86 kg and has gray hair and brown eyes, according to the description, which does not mention his clothing effects.

Anyone with information about the disappearance can call 911 or contact the nearest neighborhood police station, it was added.
