The 'fintech' Mooncard has closed a financing round of 37 million euros with the aim of promoting its growth and expansion in six European countries, including Spain, as reported in a statement.

In this round, two new investors have joined the company's capital: Orange, through Orange Ventures, and the Canadian fund Portage. Four other investors already present have also participated: Aglaé Ventures, Blackfin Capital Partners, Partech Partners and Raise Ventures.

"Thanks to the solidity of our business model, the loyalty and satisfaction of our clients, and the controlled management of our growth, we have convinced new investors to join our project, while maintaining the trust of our previous investors. ", has highlighted the executive director of the firm, Pierre-Yves Roizot.

Mooncard counts as clients with more than 6000 public and private entities. This includes more than 350 accounting firms that recommend the solution to their clients.

The firm's business focuses on managing company expenses through corporate cards. The Mooncard card allows you to set daily spending limits or certain categories such as restaurants, service areas or taxis, as well as deactivate cash withdrawals, purchases abroad or through the Internet.
