According to the state company's most recent report around 5 p.m., 95,176 subscribers were still without power.

As since the start of the storm on Friday, it is the Capitale-Nationale which is the most affected region with 28,832 homes in the dark.

Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and Côte-Nord are just behind with 14,310 and 13,536 customers without power, respectively.

The Laurentians (8,246 customers), Mauricie (6,866 customers), Bas-Saint-Laurent (6,106 customers), Montérégie (5,957 customers), and even Outaouais (3,697 customers) are also facing power outages.

Recall that Hydro-Québec has deployed nearly 1,100 employees since Friday to try to restore electricity as quickly as possible.

“Thanks to the more than a thousand workers on the ground daily, we restored service to more than 400,000 customers on this Christmas day, or approximately 75% of all homes without electricity,” Hydro-Québec wrote on Twitter. .
