The MásMóvil group had a turnover of 2,232 million euros until September, which is 2.76% more than the 2,172 million euros of the same period of the previous year, according to the results presented this Thursday by the company.

The adjusted gross operating profit (Ebitda) in the first nine months of the year stood at 902.8 million euros, 7.2% more than the 841.9 million euros recorded in the same period of 2022.

In this way, the adjusted Ebitda margin of the MásMóvil group was 40.4%, while in the same period of 2022 it stood at 38.7%.

However, the company recorded net losses of 170 million euros, compared to profits of 509 million euros in the first three quarters of last year.

"We are satisfied to maintain a good evolution during the first nine months of the year in which our income from 'telco' services has increased by 6% despite the market conditions. In addition, we maintain a good rate of acquisition thanks to having the most satisfied customers in the market, and we already have 2.5 million incremental services to 'telco' services," highlighted the CEO of the MásMóvil group, Meinrad Spenger.

On the other hand, the company has highlighted that in the first nine months of the course it invested 299 million euros in infrastructure and "commercial growth", which is 24.1% less than the 394 million euros it allocated to these issues in the same period of the previous year.

Regarding commercial results, the MásMóvil group closed the third quarter of the year with around 15.8 million total lines (broadband and mobile and including Euskaltel), 4% more in year-on-year terms.

Of the total of almost 15.8 million lines, around 12.3 million correspond to mobile and nearly 3.4 million to fixed broadband.

"The MásMóvil Group continued with its good acquisition rate and added nearly 430,000 new lines between broadband and mobile postpaid," the company added.

Likewise, he pointed out that the company has 2.5 million "incremental telecommunications services", such as insurance, financial, content, energy, health or alarms.
