Paul Pelosi, 82, faces two counts of driving while impaired and driving with a blood alcohol level over 0.08, according to court documents seen by the "New York Post".

According to the American media, Ms. Pelosi's husband was imprisoned around 4:13 a.m. on Sunday morning before being released a little later around 7:26 a.m.

Mr. Pelosi's bond had been set at $5,000 for both charges.

The Napa County Police Department and Nancy Pelosi's office did not respond to requests for comment from the "New York Post."
