The husband of Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi was arrested for drunk driving shortly before midnight Saturday night in California, TMZ reported.

Paul Pelosi, 82, faces two counts of driving while impaired and driving with a blood alcohol level over 0.08, according to court documents seen by the "New York Post".
According to the American media, Ms. Pelosi's husband was imprisoned around 4:13 a.m. on Sunday morning before being released a little later around 7:26 a.m.
Mr. Pelosi's bond had been set at $5,000 for both charges.
No additional details surrounding the event have been released.
The Napa County Police Department and Nancy Pelosi's office did not respond to requests for comment from the "New York Post."
In a statement to ABC News, Ms. Pelosi's office said "the Speaker of the House will not comment on this private event that occurred while she was on the East Coast." .
