The ordinary general meeting of shareholders of Naturgy, convened for next March 29 in second convocation, will discuss the re-election of Francisco Reynés as executive president of the company, as reported this Wednesday by the energy group to the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores ( CNMV).

Reynés, sole executive director of the gas company, has been president of Naturgy since February 2018. In 2022 he received a total remuneration of 5.85 million euros, which represents an increase of 4.91% compared to 2021.

Of that amount, 2.83 million euros were as compensation in cash, 2.95 million as compensation for savings systems and 71,000 euros as compensation for other items.

Naturgy's meeting next March will also address the re-election of Claudi Santiago Ponsa and Pedro Sainz de Baranda as independent directors, and the appointment of José Antonio Torre de Silva López de Letona as proprietary director to replace the company Theater Directorship Services Beta .

Naturgy's board of directors received a remuneration of 8.51 million euros in 2022.

Likewise, the board will examine for its approval the 2022 income statement, the management report of the group and its board of directors, the application of the result obtained last year and there will also be an advisory vote in relation to the annual remuneration report. of the counselors.

Naturgy recommends telematic attendance at the meeting, proxy voting or remote voting due to capacity limitations at its registered office.
