The State Tax Administration Agency has canceled Novo Banco's authorization to act as a collaborating entity in collection management after its integration into Abanca, according to the Official State Gazette (BOE).

The resolution of the department dependent on the Ministry of Finance and Public Function has been issued after the branch in Spain of Novo Banco has communicated the technological and operational integration in Abanca Corporación Bancaria.

On the occasion of the merger, the Tax Agency has proceeded to cancel authorization number 0194 to act as a collaborator in the collection management, corresponding to the bank.

Consequently, it has communicated that Novo Banco must proceed to "the immediate cancellation of the restricted accounts referred to in article 5 of Order EHA/2027/2007, of June 28 (BOE of July 9)".
