Orange Spain invoices 1,164 million until March, 2.8% more

MADRID, 26 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Orange Spain has billed 1,164 million euros up to March, which represents an increase in revenue of 2.8% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The company has grown in the retail business by 1.2% to 794 million euros, while the sale of electronic equipment and devices has shot up 18% to 177 million euros.

On the contrary, the wholesale business has fallen by 2.5% to 192 million euros, according to the presentation of results published this Wednesday.

The company has raised the monthly price paid by its convergent customers (convergent ARPU) by 3.5%, thus chaining two consecutive quarters of increases. In addition, at the end of the quarter a price increase began to be applied to the tariff portfolio of between three and five euros.

On a commercial level, the company ended the quarter with 30,000 fewer convergent lines, but it has lowered its cancellation rate (churn) and added 45,000 net mobile lines to the perimeter.

Orange has set itself the objective for Spain to return to growth in adjusted gross operating profit (adjusted Ebitda) this year.
