The famous "popemobile", the official vehicle used to transport the pope, has arrived in Quebec for the July 28 visit to the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré basilica.

The RCMP said in a Twitter post on Tuesday that the Papemobile had officially arrived at the RCMP detachment in the Old Capital.

“The RCMP has the mandate to coordinate the security of the papal visit and to ensure the protection of Pope Francis during his stay in Canada,” the police force specified in its publication.
