Located in the riding of Chauveau, it is also in this one where Mr. Duhaime is seeking his candidacy. Currently, the CAQ has held it since 2018.

For some people, the curator's candidacy has potential.

“It can confuse the issue, I think there are a lot of people who talk about it that it can come to divide. But, personally, for me, no,” said a woman in an interview.

“I think his candidacy is interesting, especially considering that the other parties seem homogeneous. He has a chance, I think,” said a citizen.

According to the most recent Léger poll, the Conservative Party garners 26% of voting intentions against 40% for the CAQ.
