9-month-old Santiago Castrillon was blessed by Pope Francis during his tour of the Plains of Abraham.

His parents had traveled from Montreal expressly for the visit of the Holy Father. "It was really important for us to be here," said his mother, Emmanuelle Labrie.

The little family was upset in the moments following this moment which will remain etched in their memory.

“I am very touched, moved and above all happy for Santiago. He was baptized on October 31, but there, blessed by the pope, you couldn't ask for more. It's going to be a great memory for a lifetime,” Ms. Labrie said.

The mother was already overwhelmed with requests from people present who wanted to touch the little one, who for them had become a link with the divine through this simple contact with the pope.
