The beginning of the week will be mostly cloudy in most of the province, with some sunshine in places.

The west of the province will indeed be generally sunny, sometimes alternating with clouds. The mercury will fluctuate between -5 and -7 degrees at the hottest of the day, depending on the region. Abitibi-Témiscamingue will be cloudy overall, with temperatures between -13 and -16 degrees. Eastern and central Quebec will alternate between sun and clouds on Monday, with a probability of snowfall and a mercury fluctuating between -6 and -10 degrees depending on the region. The Îles-de-la-Madeleine will experience a cloudy day, with the risk of snowfall and a stable temperature around -2 degrees Celsius. Snowfall and a temperature dropping to -16 degrees are expected Monday in northern Quebec. The far north will also be cloudy with a chance of snowfall and a mercury reaching –11 degrees Celsius.
