For New Year's Day, intermittent rain or snow will fall in the area with temperatures of a maximum of 2 degrees Celsius.

Rain is expected in the Saguenay area on December 31. Temperatures predicted by Environment Canada are expected to reach a maximum of 5 degrees Celsius.

Rain showers or flurries could fall overnight or during the day on Sunday. A high of minus 1 degree Celsius is expected.

Bas-Saint-Laurent should also receive intermittent rain on Saturday, with a maximum of 4 degrees Celsius.

For New Year's Day, clouds will be present with a 60 percent chance of flurries. The maximum temperature should be one degree Celsius.

The Outaouais will receive intermittent rain on December 31 and will have a 60 percent chance of showers on January 1.
