Recall of Tohato brand potato rings

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall warning due to the undeclared presence of milk in a product from the Japanese food brand Tohato.

These are “snack” type potato rings. Dairy products are in the product, contrary to what was written on the label. The recalled contents were sold in British Columbia.

This recall stems from the results of analysis carried out by the CFIA. To date, no reactions related to the consumption of the affected products have been reported.

The CFIA has also indicated that it has carried out an investigation to verify the safety of the food, which could possibly lead to the recall of other products.
