The national director of public health, Dr. Luc Boileau, will provide an update on the situation of COVID-19 in the province on Friday at 1 p.m.

For the past few weeks, Public Health has been hammering out prevention messages as the number of cases has exploded and hospitalizations have increased.

During its last daily report, Quebec recorded 13 new deaths linked to COVID-19.

The province also has 2,222 people hospitalized, including 69 in intensive care.
