Children should immediately stop playing with Disney-themed wands sold during recent live performances, including in Allentown, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The light-spinner toy wands have a top component that can "detach and expose an 8-inch metal rod, posing an injury hazard to young children," the performances' presenter, Feld Entertainment Inc., announced.

No injuries were reported as of Thursday.

"This recall involves light-spinner wands with lot numbers 954544 and 954603 imprinted on the bottom of the toy," the recall announcement states. "The light-spinner wands have either Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse at the top. The Mickey Mouse wands are yellow, red and black. The Minnie Mouse wands are pink, white and blue. The wands measure about 18 inches tall."

About 30,100 of the units, all made in China, are being recalled.

They were sold for about $22 exclusively at "Disney on Ice" and "Disney Live" shows from October through November 2016, according to the consumer protection commission.

"Disney Live" made a stop Oct. 27-28 at the PPL Center in Allentown, one of several Pennsylvania shows, in addition to those in Wilkes-Barre, Reading, Hershey, Pittsburgh and Erie.
