To advance their investigation, Ottawa police released a video with sensitive content regarding a shooting in June that injured one person.

The video, which dates from June 12, shows a black vehicle moving slowly towards a 34-year-old man, near the corner of Séguin and Florette streets. A shooter in the vehicle then fires at the individual, and the car quickly drives away. The events occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m.

According to information from the authorities, the shooter's automobile resembles an older model black Lexus sedan.

The victim, wounded by bullet, was transported to the hospital, but his life was not in danger.

Investigators want to speak with anyone who witnessed the events or was in the vicinity and may have relevant camera or CCTV data.
