Several trucks caught fire Friday evening in an industrial yard in Dorval.

The Montreal Fire Department (SIM) received a call shortly before 9 p.m. regarding a fire in an industrial yard on Saint-François Road. A total of six trucks were affected by the flames which, fortunately, did not reach any building.

“It took 19 vehicles, or around 50 firefighters, to put out the fire,” said Robert Rousseau, spokesperson for the SIM.

The origin of the blaze is still not known. Firefighters are still investigating to find out what happened.
