The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has promised for the next Legislature to create a subsidized savings account for the purchase of the first home for young people and free urban public transport for children and students up to 24 years of age.

In the presentation of the electoral program of the PSOE, Sánchez has advanced the creation, in coordination with the financial sector, of this savings account, "which will allow young people to save up to 30,000 euros free of taxation."

In addition, the president has advanced his intention to establish free urban public transport for children and students up to 24 years of age. "The intention is to help reduce traffic congestion in our cities and also to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change," he assured.

Sánchez has also set as a challenge for the next Legislature the launch of a 'National Flexible Work Strategy', with a package of measures and legal reforms and incentives for companies to offer their workers a better work-life balance. personal and professional life through much more adaptable schedules and hybrid days that combine face-to-face with remote.

"Our objective is that work is more satisfying, that it also leaves time for leisure, and that it also allows us to be with our children and with our families", defended the president.
