Sonae Sierra, a real estate company that manages more than 8,000 million euros in assets, has appointed Raúl Mazo as the new Business Development Director for Spain, with the aim of expanding its client portfolio in the country.

Mazo has 20 years of experience in the areas of business strategy, real estate project management and sustainable asset development in companies such as Altamira, Servihabitat and Grupo Copisa.

Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, he has completed an MBA at the Esade business school, as well as the executive program in Real Estate Business Management at the IE Business School.

"Under this new position, my objective is to capitalize on the current moment of change that the company and the real estate sector in general are experiencing. Sierra, together with Reify, has extensive experience in the development and management of real estate projects, which puts serving customers at a time full of challenges and opportunities. The current situation will benefit those who know how and can be flexible", Mazo pointed out.
