A young 17-year-old Mario, in 1981. That year he won a big singing competition at Place des Arts and he released his first 45 rpm, his flagship song Je suis un chanter. After experiencing the pain of losing his sister Johanne with whom he formed a popular duo, he continued on his way.

In the absence of having had children, they achieved great dreams together, including that of becoming winegrowers.
