The constitution of new companies fell by 3.2% in September, according to notaries

The constitution of new companies fell by 3.2% in September compared to the same month last year, to add 7,915 new companies, according to data from the General Council of Notaries released this Wednesday.

Of these, companies with a founding share capital of between 3,000 and 4,000 euros reached 6,027, 3.3% less than in September 2021. Within these, the average constitution capital was 3,022 euros.

By autonomous communities, the creation of new companies only increased in September in the interannual rate in four regions, mainly in La Rioja (77.3%) and Andalusia (4.9%). On the contrary, it decreased in the remaining thirteen regions, especially in Cantabria (-54.8%), Extremadura (-18.9%) and Navarra (-16.9%).
