The deferred payment solution Alma has closed its first year in Spain with around 350 businesses from 24 different sectors, and reached 11,000 businesses and 1,000 million in transactions at the European level, as reported this Wednesday in a statement.

It is a payment solution that offers deferred payments in 2, 3 and 4 installments, both online and in store and for any type of product.

The fintech was born in France in 2018 and its international expansion started last year in Spain. After its launch in the country, Alma has continued with its growth strategy in Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

The objective of the firm for 2023 is to consolidate itself in these markets and replicate the results obtained in France. In this regard, he points out that one of the key appointments will come in mid-2023, when the French train company SNFC offers customers the possibility of paying for tickets in installments with Alma.
