MADRID, 28 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The bonus approved by the Government of 20 cents per liter of fuel for carriers during the first quarter of the year, which will become 10 cents in the second quarter, will have a cost of 107 million euros for the State coffers during the first semester of the year.

This is stated in the decree law published this Wednesday in the Official State Gazette (BOE), which amounts to 2,700 euros for the maximum aid per truck of more than 7.5 tons and diesel, 1,500 euros per bus, 450 euros per ambulance and of 300 euros for taxis.

When the bonus has been applied to the population as a whole, from April to December 31, the cost amounts to more than 4,000 million euros, a figure that contrasts with the estimated budgetary impact now of 107 million euros, since has eliminated the general discount for individual customers.

In addition to the discount for diesel and gasoline, for fleets powered by gas, a compensation of 27 cents is expected until March and 14 euro cents during the second quarter of the year, given the special circumstances faced by the price of gas in this stage.

In these cases, the aid for heavy trucks will amount to 3,690 euros, 2,050 euros in the case of LPG, CNG or LNG buses and 410 for taxis powered by this type of energy.

The discount will be paid at the end of each month for carriers who already use professional diesel. For those who do not, they must request the aid through the electronic headquarters of the State Tax Administration Agency between February 1 and March 31, 2023, which, once approved, will be paid in a single estimated payment for the six months.

The price of fuels has been falling in recent months and diesel is already around 1.6 euros and gasoline around 1.5 euros, compared to the maximums of 2.1 euros and 2.15 euros, respectively, that have come to play this year.
