Tubos Reunidos has announced this Friday the "voluntary" dismissal of Francisco Irazusta as executive president of the company and as a member of its board of directors, effective as of August 31, 2023, who is going to take on a new professional challenge in a international company outside of Spain, as the company sent this Friday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

Irazusta explained in a letter that he has received a proposal for international "personal and professional development" outside of Spain that is "very important" for him and his family, while at the same time he has been "convinced" that the current situation of The company has improved compared to the time of its incorporation in April 2020.

He has also valued the "great work" that the council is doing, as well as the activity carried out by the management team, "will allow Tubos Reunidos to successfully execute its ambitious strategic plan".

The company has highlighted to the CNMV that, in accordance with the provisions of the Tubos Reunidos bylaws and the board regulations, as of August 31, 2023, the date on which Irazusta will cease his duties, and as long as If a new non-executive chairman of the board of directors is appointed, the vice-chairman, Emilio Ybarra Aznar, will temporarily assume the duties of the chairmanship.

For his part, Carlos López de las Heras will continue to lead the first executive line as general director, a position he has been holding in the last stages of the company, and will continue to contribute his deep knowledge of the product, the market, and the rest of the areas. of the company, in order, as chief executive, to continue leading the execution of the strategic plan, as well as the management team.

The separation of both positions, non-executive president and chief executive, "is in line with the best practices of good corporate governance and reinforces the independence of the board of directors," reported Tubos Reunidos.
