The Government launches the final version of 'My Citizen Folder'

MADRID, 15 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Government has launched this Thursday the first definitive version of the 'My Citizen Folder' application, which brings together dozens of administrative procedures in an application that can also be used on mobile phones to facilitate access to the digital Administration for citizens.

The launch comes after a Beta process in which 850 contributions have been received and 500,000 users have registered, according to a statement from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation.

The application has been made available to the public within the framework of the OECD Digital Economy Ministerial Conference, which is being held this week in Gran Canaria, and includes the possibility of consulting the status of ongoing procedures with the Administration.

Among the services that the application includes, there is also a calendar to consult appointments with the Administration and the expiration of documents such as the DNI or the ITV, as well as a data consultation service in different areas such as education, housing or the health and social affairs.

Likewise, other aspects related to work and retirement can also be consulted, such as social benefits, paternity or maternity, the minimum vital income or the situation of demand for employment and unemployment benefits.

'My citizen folder' includes as communication channels a mobile application, a web application and a conversational assistant and to access the user must identify himself with his PIN Code, Permanent Code, Electronic Certificate or DNIe.

The objective of the Executive, through the Secretary of State for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence, is to publish a version of the application every few months and for it to gradually include new services.

The Executive expects most of the State's digital public services to be accessible via mobile by the end of 2025.

To do this, it has published, together with the application, a roadmap with the upcoming additions that it proposes, as well as a global reflection document on the citizen consultation process.
