The Ibex 35 advances 0.2% in the middle of the session, pending the employment data in the United States

The Ibex 35 was trading in the mid-session this Friday with an advance of 0.26%, which led it to remain below 7,900 integers, on a day marked by the presentation of business results, including those of Telefónica and Amadeus, and for the publication of the employment report in the United States.

Telefónica has presented results that have exceeded analysts' expectations due to its growth in Latin America and its cash generation. Specifically, it has earned 1,486 million euros until September, 86% less due to extraordinary minors, but it has grown 11.3% in income in the third quarter, compared to the 6.8% estimated by the consensus of analysts compiled by Banco Sabadell.

For its part, Amadeus recorded a profit of 521.1 million euros in the first nine months of the year, compared to losses of 121.3 million euros recorded in the same period of 2021.

In this scenario, the biggest rises in the Ibex 35 were scored by ArcelorMittal (6.16%), Acerinox (4.87%), Fluidra (3.50%), Inditex (2.28%), Telefónica (1.95 %) and Sacyr (1.95%). On the other hand, Rovi fell (-11.13%) -which gained 23% more until September but has reduced its revenue forecasts for 2023-, CaixaBank (-3.83%), Acciona Energía (-2, 39%), PharmaMar (-2.39%), Iberdrola (-1.59%) and Bankinter (-1.52%).

This Friday it was also known that the activity of Spanish companies continued to deteriorate in October, according to the Composite Purchasing Managers Index (PMI), which fell to 48 points from 48.4 the previous month, which is the worst reading of the data since last January, according to S

The deterioration of private sector activity in the eurozone also continued to slow down, as the PMI index fell to 47.3 points from 48.1 the previous month, which represents the worst reading of the data in 23 months.

The rest of the European stock markets were trading up 1.21% in London, 2.01% in Paris, 1.53% in Frankfurt and 1.06% in Milan.

Likewise, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, stood this Friday at a price of 97.38 dollars, with an increase of 2.86%, while Texas stood at 91, 08 dollars, with a rise of 3.03%.

Finally, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 0.9791 'greenbacks', while the Spanish risk premium stood at 106 basis points, with the interest required on the ten-year bond at 3.335%.
