The Ibex 35 has started the session this Wednesday with a rise of 0.33%, which has led the selective to stand at 7,820 integers at 9:01 a.m., on a day marked again by business results, including Santander and Iberdrola, and awaiting the meeting of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) this Thursday, in which a new rise in interest rates is expected.

In this way, after advancing 1.49% yesterday, the Madrid selective began the session above the psychological level of 7,800 points.

In the first bars of the session this Wednesday, Telefónica led the increases, with a rise of 2.58%, followed by ArcelorMittal (1.36%), BBVA (0.86%), Sacyr (0.59%) , Iberdrola (0.51%) and Repsol (0.23%), while on the opposite side were Red Elñectrica (-1.24%), Santander (-1.17%) and Sabadell (-0.57 %).

The rest of the European stock markets opened lower with falls of 0.1% for Frankfurt, London and Paris.

Likewise, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, stood this Wednesday at a price of 90 dollars, with a decrease of 1%, while Texas stood at 84 dollars, with a fall from 1%.

Finally, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 0.9976 'greenbacks', while the Spanish risk premium stood at 109 basis points, with the interest required on the ten-year bond at 3.222%.
