The Ibex 35 has started the session this Monday, the last of the month of July, with a decrease of 0.23%, which has led the selective to 9,663.28 points, in a scenario that continues to be marked by the presentation of results, including Prosegur and Meliá Hotels, and the publication of macroeconomic data.

Before the market opened, Prosegur announced that it closed the first half of the year with a net profit of 43 million euros, which represents an increase of 8.1% compared to the same period a year earlier.

In addition, on this first trading day of the week, advance inflation data for the euro area will be released in July, as well as its preliminary estimate of GDP in the second quarter of the year, at the same time that the manufacturing PMI will also be published. of China in July and retail sales of Germany in June.

In the early stages of this session, the biggest increases within the Ibex 35 were recorded by Sacyr (1.04%), Bankinter (0.88%), Unicaja Banco (0.83%) and Meliá Hotels (0.84% ), while on the opposite side the most pronounced decreases were recorded by Amadeus (-2.89%), Cellnex Telecom (-1.69%), Indra (-1.33%) and Mapfre (-0.99% ).

The main European stock markets opened this Monday with a mixed sign: London woke up unchanged, while Milan rose 0.08%, and Frankfurt and Paris lost 0.14% and 0.10%, respectively.

At the opening of the stock market, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, fell 0.14%, to $84.29, while Texas stood at $80.47, a 0.14% less.

In the currency market, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.1014 'green bills', while the Spanish risk premium was around 104.2 basis points, with the interest required on the 10-year bond at 3.540%.
