The Ibex 35 began the first session of the week with a decrease of 0.34%, which has led the selective to lose the level of 9,500 points, reaching 9,469.32 integers.

At the same time that the selective started the session, it was known that industrial prices decreased in Spain by 10% in August compared to the same month in 2022, a rate almost 1.5 points lower than that registered in July and the most pronounced since the beginning. of the series, in 1976.

The day will also be marked by the publication of the index prepared by the Munich Economic Research Institute (Ifo) of business confidence in Germany.

On Thursday, preliminary inflation data for September will be released in Spain and Germany, while on Friday the CPI for the same period will be published in France, the United States and the eurozone.

In the early stages of this Monday's session, the biggest increases within the Ibex 35 were recorded by Fluidra (1.26%), Logista (0.2%), Aena (0.11%) and Indra (0.07 %). On the other hand, the biggest decreases were recorded by ArcelorMittal (-2.37%), Bankinter (-1.6%), Merlin Properties (-1.44%) and Acerinox (-1.27%).

In the Chinese market, one of its main stock indices, the Hang Seng, which brings together more than 40 companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, fell around 1.9% at the opening of the European markets, after after the Chinese real estate giant Evergrande announced that it "cannot meet the requirements" for the issuance of new notes because one of its main subsidiaries, Hengda Real Estate, is under investigation.

The shares of the Chinese company fell more than 20% at 9:00 a.m. Spanish time, to 0.44 Hong Kong dollars per share (0.0528 euros).

The main European stock markets also opened this Monday with a negative sign: 0.27% for London, 0.25% for Frankfurt, 0.24% for Paris and 0.22% for Milan.

At the opening of the stock market, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, rose 0.5%, to 92.42 dollars, while Texas stood at 90.49 dollars, 0.51% more.

In the foreign exchange market, the price of the euro against the dollar advanced to 1.0646 'greenbacks', while in the debt market the interest required on the 10-year Spanish bond climbed to 3.825%.
