The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) of Spain has reached an agreement this Wednesday with the Valencian technology ClimateTrade with the aim of offering tools that facilitate the measurement of the carbon footprint of SMEs through 'Prime Calculator', a tool developed by the Valencian company that allows the calculation of emissions.

Through a press release, the business forum has detailed that the digital tool takes into account variables such as facilities, transport and subcontracting to calculate the categories of greenhouse effect emissions (known as 'scopes', in the jargon of the sector).

Likewise, the statement points out that the world is increasingly "demanding a greater commitment to sustainability from consumers, investors and businesses", and recalled that the big brands are obliged to account for their emissions.
