The La Fontaine tunnel and the Pie-IX bridge closed during the weekend

Major obstacles are to be expected on the Montreal highway network during the weekend, in particular on the Pie-IX and Victoria bridges, Highway 40 and the La Fontaine tunnel.

Thus, the Louis-Hyppolite-La Fontaine tunnel will be completely closed towards the South Shore of Montreal from Friday 11 p.m. to Saturday 6 p.m., indicated Mobility Montreal.

Highway 40 eastbound will be closed between exit 65 (Côte-de-Liesse roundabout) and the Laurentides interchange, from Friday 11:30 p.m. to Sunday 8 a.m.

Mobility Montreal indicates that the Pie-IX bridge will be closed in both directions from Saturday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m., suggesting a detour via Highway 19.

On the Victoria Bridge, a single lane will be kept open between Saint-Lambert and Montreal, between Saturday at 5 a.m. and Monday at 1:30 p.m.

In Boucherville, the closure of the service road of Highway 20 westbound at the height of the interchange at the level of Highway 30 is planned, from Friday 9:30 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

Mobility Montreal is also planning the partial closure of 2 out of 3 lanes on the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge towards the South Shore.
