The PP has registered a non-legal proposal in Congress to incorporate, within the framework of the National Security Strategy, a National Economic Intelligence System to interrelate information between the Administration and companies.

According to Grupo Popular, a similar system has already been adopted in other countries such as France, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, Japan and South Korea, with the main objective of interrelating economic information between the Administration and companies. for decision-making in the economic and commercial field, as well as the protection and promotion of national economic interests, directly or indirectly, and the defense of economic security.

In addition, the 'popular' understand that the creation of economic intelligence systems in the aforementioned countries have provided a "comparative advantage", and even in some cases it forms part of economic policy as an element of added value, which contributes to economic growth , the preservation of jobs and the achievement of high levels of well-being for all citizens.

The PP points out that the non-incorporation of this intelligence system implies a "loss of opportunities" in large companies and SMEs, as well as the well-being of society as a whole.
