The Quebec series for teenagers and young adults won the SILVER WINNER: SERIES — TELEVISION in the Drama category at the Telly Awards in New York on May 24.

The choral series – whose title in English becomes Intitled – won this prize in the drama category tied with the American series Two Sentence Horror Stories at the 43rd edition of the Telly Awards. These annually honor excellence in television and video, for all screens. More than 12,000 project applications from all over the world are submitted to it each year.

Produced by Zone 3, the 6-episode series features several young Quebec actors who have had the wind in their sails for a while on our screens. Among them, Alex Godbout (District 31, L'heure bleue, CLASH, the Norbourg film), Lévi Doré (Chaos, Bête noire, Lou and Sophie) and Chanel Mings (Us).

The dramatic miniseries filmed in Montreal and written by Marie-Hélène Lapierre and Justine Philie - which has been compared to the American series Riverdale, Sex Education and Never Have I Ever - tackles important subjects of adolescence. In particular, the abuse of power existing in secondary schools, privileges, non-heteronormativity and sexual consent.

The series, which was also a finalist at the Content Innovation Awards 2021 in London, was purchased by Finland, France and Belgium. She is also nominated for the Rockie Awards at the 2022 Banff International Media Festival, which will be held on June 13, in the Live Action: Youth (11-17) category.
