Cody Fajardo was effective without being spectacular for the crowd favorites, completing 22 of 32 stints (68.8%) and collecting a touchdown pass. He was the victim of a larceny, one less than his vis-à-vis Dane Evans.

Former Montreal Alouettes Matthew Shiltz was also entitled to a few appearances behind the center of the “Ti-Cats”. He had 48 yards through the air and completed six of seven passes.

Both teams struggled to generate offense in the first half, both amassing less than 100 yards.
