More than 300,000 Quebecers are without electricity due to storms and strong winds that have begun to shake part of the province.

Currently, 307,350 Hydro-Québec customers are in the dark. The Laurentians are the most affected region with 149,098 homes without electricity.

In Outaouais, Montérégie and Mauricie, respectively 114,987 and 15,808 and 14,166 homes are without power. In Lanaudière, 9,982 customers are plunged into darkness.

On the Montreal side, Hydro-Québec has recorded 1,845 outages.

Citizens reported to TVA Nouvelles several fallen trees, blocked streets and significant damage caused by bad weather.
