In the Atlantic section, Matthew Tkachuk was chosen by the Florida Panthers. The two brothers had participated in the Classic of the stars in 2020, but not in the same team since the eldest wore the colors of the Calgary Flames.

"We've never played together, so it should be interesting," Brady said. I try to think of a time when we shared the ice [on the same team], but there hasn't been since we were two or three years old."

When their selections were announced, Matthew and Brady Tkachuk led their respective teams in scoring with 47 and 39 points.
